Truth Turmoil

Crying at the grave of your conscience
An eye that cannot see the truth is blind
Drowning in the inferno of the forgotten
An ear that cannot hear the roar of reality is deaf
Struggling to wake you from your eternal sleep
A mouth that cannot say the truth is voiceless
Sowing the seeds of hope for the innocent
A heart that doesn’t beat for others is lifeless
Maybe you'll realize everything once this night ends
When the silver moon sleeps
Or perhaps when I finish counting the stars
